Membership Expectations

• Attend all meetings or send a designated representative.
• Present your business weekly.
• Provide referrals to members.
• Bring guests/visitors.
• Participate in one-on-one “coffee meetings.”
• Report closed business.
• Hold a valid business license in Courtenay, Comox, or Cumberland.

Definitions

• Visitor: Potential member attending up to 2 meetings.
• Guest: One-time attendee invited by a member.
• Coffee Meeting: One-on-one business discussion.
• Closed Business: Value of referred business transactions.

Meeting Attendance

Members must attend meetings regularly or send a representative. Regular attendance builds trust and improves referral exchange.

• Visitor – A potential member from the Comox Valley who may attend up to 2 meetings.
• Guest – A one-time attendee introduced by a member, provided their business does not duplicate an existing category.
