John Bonner is a professional photographer who has been in the industry since the late 1980s. He began as a freelance photojournalist in 1987 and covered events for various newspapers, winning a "Photo of the Year" award. He also managed photo labs. Later, he moved to Banff, Alberta, managed a film lab, and eventually acquired a wedding and portrait studio, consolidating it into Bonner Photography. Since 1987, he has documented numerous weddings, family portraits, and events. Since 1999, his team has been leaders in digital photography and videography. While maintaining a presence in Alberta, they have shifted their base to the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, offering photo and video services to various clients and organizations.
